It's Open!

Isaac was away at the Boy Scout Freezoree this weekend. When Jonathan woke from his nap this afternoon, Isaac was back home. The first words out of his mouth were, "Isaac! The Dairy Barn is open. It's not closed anymore and they have ice-cream."

He knew when brother got home, I had promised them DB milkshakes. After helping Daddy with a bit of much needed pruning of the apple trees, we were off to enjoy our first milkshakes of the new Dairy Barn season.

Story Time

When we learned that Laiel was taking classes and wouldn't be coming over on Thursday any longer, we decided to give story time a try. The little ones love it!

They love Ms Liz Thingpen...

they love the music,

they love the stories,

and they just have a fit over her bubbles!

Esau

I just love "Hands on Homeschooling." It's been fun doing it with Jonathan and remembering when Isaac and I did the same fun stuff 11 years ago!! This week we were learning about Esau... so Jonathan dressed up like none other than .... Esau!

Scout Sunday

I didn't even attempt to make it to Sweetwater at 8:30 on a Sunday morning with the little ones and especially for a service! But from what we learned today, a "service" is not quite what I remember a service being. Eddie said a band was on stage playing when they got to the gym- so loud you could hear it outside. Hum... wonder what the King of the Universe thinks?

We're getting there....

This morning when Jonathan told me he had a poopy- it occurred to me what potty training means at our house.

• First, that my babies are growing up.
• Secondly, that the $100 we spend every month on diapers and wipes will stop!
• And lastly that the seasons of life sure can pass so quickly.

Early Riser

I have a little man that is outdoing his momma.... he likes to get up just as early as I do. BUT that means that Momma has no quiet time alone to pray, study the scriptures or get a shower.... UNTIL... we bought him an alarm clock. He told me one day that he didn't have an alarm clock like Mommy, Daddy, and Isaac. Little does he know that this cute little blue clock is going to teach him to stay in bed. I'll let you know how it works ;-)

Chalkwalk

While I got dinner ready, Isaac took the kidos outside to play what Jonathan is calling, "chalkwalk". Where he came up with that, we have no idea!
