Our Favorites

It's time to return library books. We had a LARGE stack of Passover books. But these were certainly our favorites. Might find them on our shelves someday!

Resurrection Sunday

Look! It's a bud on one of the trees Isaac cut down a couple of years ago for a fort he built!

Passover

Ah... Passover is a memory now. The floors are swept, dining room is cleaned, and the dishes are  washed. But I couldn't help sharing a bunch of photos!

Watching from the sidelines

How I wish there was something I could DO ! Isn't it odd how sometimes when life throws something major at us, prayer doesn't seem like "enough?" There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of my amazing friend Liz as she has faced a diagnosis of cancer and now battles it through chemo. What a mean disease cancer is! But what a mighty Father we have. As my prayers for Liz's comfort, her healing, and her protection seem so insignificant sometimes, I watch from the sidelines in anticipation of the awesome and mighty things God is going to do in, through, and for that gal!

Planetarium

I have to brag....METHEA has some of the best field trips! While I made a visit to ECS, Eddie and Isaac headed over to the East TN Discovery Center. Not only was it a first for me, it was the first time Jonathan and Rachel stayed with Taylor Dixon. Turned out to be a good day for all of us.

Mamaw Sue

Look what I came across through my cousin Paula. I often forget that Sue had a life before Papaw Monk married her. Such a wise man.... Now I know why he ask us to call her Mamaw Sue when my children came along. He knew it would give them a "connection."

Much too long

It has been much too long since I have written a post. Maybe Facebook took my attention. But I sure would like to be blogging again. So... Welcome Back!
