Show Off!

I accused Ms. Stephie of being a show off last night when she brought these for our fellowship meal. SO glad she decided to "show off" since I was the benefactor of her talent in the kitchen.... lemon crepes with yogurt inside!

Play Barn

Everyday the kids ask to "Play Barn." I keep the Lego barn in the foyer closet along with the magnets and Little People. That barn has to be the best toy I have every given them. They LOVE it. They like to take the little people and play house with it. I just love watching how they are learning to play together!

Good Doctor + Good Report= Great Day

The very first time we visited Knoxville Pediatric Ophthalmology, we parked on the "Raccoon" level. What made the raccoon level even greater was that it had a YELLOW 4!! Jonathan's favorite color and his number! When we went back to pick up his glasses, he insisited we park at the raccoon. Well, today was no different.... besides the fact that momma was driving and she hates parking garages! So excited we got a good report~ plus made a stop at "the big library" and Chick-Fil-A. That's sure is a bunch of good stuff for one day!

Being around other kids that have glasses too is always the coolest!

My White Picket Fence

For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a bond-servant of Christ.

I am not willing to be transformed into their likeness. Nor are we willing for our home and family to be transformed into the likeness of our neighbor's home. Therefore, I will never obtain the acceptance nor approval that I am seeking. It's way past time that I stop trying to obtain something I should not be seeking to begin with.

It's way past time that I stop worrying about what "so-and-so" thinks or says and instead ~ listen to my Father. He created my children. 

He knows their individual needs. 

He created me! 

He knows all! 

He gave these precious people to our family-not our neighbor. I am accountable to Jehovah! Not Mrs. So & So.

So I am building a pretty little white picket fence around my  backyard. A boundary. You're welcome to visit. Come and stay awhile.... but don't expect me nor those in my family to be just like you.
