What happened?

The lavendar is bigger than Jonathan this year!

I'm not sure what happened while we were away at the Creation Museum...
but when we got back, Rachel is talking up a storm.

And the broccoli! It turned into a bouquet in the past two days!

What's Going on Back at home

The little ones have been having a blast with "Tay-Tay."
Have they even noticed that we are gone?

We made a couple of stops on our trip home. At a rest stop in Kentucky, Isaac climbed in the back and was looking for his "pennies." Eddie kept teasing him about looking for his "panties."
We had a good laugh!

And then there was this special "out of the way" stop at Bass Pro Shop in Cincinnati!
Isaac and I shopped the fishing barges...

While Eddie shopped the electric all terrain vehicles!

Koi garden.... one of my favorite spots!

This was another one of my favorite spots. The water ran right through the middle of the garden. I think I could have sat and listened to it all day long. Especially since on Monday and Tuesday mornings, we had the entire garden to ourselves for awhile.

Tuesday morning, I was so engrossed in watching and listening to the water that I almost missed this little creature who was sitting right next to me!

I had to stop and ponder how many times in the average day do I let the little things slip right by me because I am too involved in the "big" stuff. What do I miss because I am in too big a rush, too loud, too distracted? My prayer as we returned home Tuesday evening was:

that in the midst of the activities of the day, I will be able to slow down, quieten down and hear the voice of the Majestic Glory (2 Peter 1:16-18) in my own little corner of His creation.

Some pool time for Isaac.
My museum "friend."
Sunday evening we headed to a Walgreens to look for Eddie some "pills." It was only 2.5 miles from our hotel. Easy! Until Mr. GPS said "turn onto Anderson Ferry Road and board ferry." It was serious! There was a ferry. We decided not to "board ferry." But the next day, we just couldn't resist. So we headed back to Anderson Ferry Road....

I was so "freaked" that I cropped myself out of this photo!

Think Sweetheart was tired? He took a little nap in Noah's Ark.
Our "after lunch treat" from Eddie Bo.
What an awesome lunch date! My favorite young man in the whole wide world.
We had lunch at Noah's Cafe. I can't remember how many years it has been since we had Isaac's birthday lunch here.
And my other lunch date! My favorite gentleman in the whole wide world!!
