Ouch!

I have a keepsake from my visit to the ER! Not the kind of soviner I was in hopes of getting this week.
I sure am thankful for my beloved hubby and his willingness to take care of us AND my washing machine!

Hero

OK.... I will admit it...I have been terribly disappointed that we were not having a pastry in France this morning. But as of last night, we still had two sick little ones. It seems this bug will not leave us alone!

Today they are much improved thanks to a call to Dr. Saji's cell phone!
Eddie has been our Hero! Anything and everything we have needed, he has taken care of... won't go into the details- but I'm sure you can imagine. Last night after I had gotten the little ones bathed and "drugged" with Phenegran, I read to them. But when I placed Jonathan in his bed, he ask for "Daddy" so affectionately. No wonder....

Poor Babies

Well, it is official. Eddie and I will not be boarding a plane today for our "holiday" in Spain!

My poor little Jonathan started vomiting only 2 hours after I went to sleep (midnight!). He was sick every 45 minutes. I could have set the clock by him. He handled it oh so well.

Then little Rachel started sometime around 5:00 AM.

I was so in hopes it would be a 12 hour bug and run its course quickly so we could still leave home by 1:00 or 1:30 and make our flight out of Knoxville.

Eddie and I have decided that we just can't leave the precious little things while they are so sick.

Yuck...

What a way to start our "holiday!" Friday evening, Eddie and Isaac headed off to Abram's Creek for a backpacking trip. Around 1:00 am I woke up not feeling very well. By 2:30, I was realizing just how very sick I was, sent a text to mom and dad around 4:30- Daddy just happened to be awake. How awesome to have momma and daddy close by AND willing to take care if me! Daddy took me to the ER while mom stayed here with the little ones.

Here is is Sunday and I still feel weak. But I do believe that I am ready to fly! Eddie and I have packed our bags (yes! Me sweetheart is packed the day before!) and everything is all set. Just a few little last minute things. Taylor will be here tomorrow. She and Lai-Lai are all set too! Yippee.

Spring Morning

After a little bit if school, we cleaned up our sand table and spent the morning in the sunshine! I didn't realize how much I had missed being outside!

Surprises

1- Poppy had a surprise for Isaac... A fishing license!
2- Nana had another surprise for Isaac (birthday stuff!).... A Verizon gift card toward that iPhone he's dreaming about.
3- And Eddie had a surprise for all of us... A golf cart!

First aid review

Since Isaac had a meeting with Mr. Kirkland, I went to scouts too- besides the fact it was Isaac's 13th birthday and I just wanted to be with him! I always enjoy seeing what the guys are doing. They recently brought home the Klondike Mike and Busted skillet awards from the Freezoree down at chickamauga.

Happy Birthday to my Precious Isaac. I love you more than you know.

Friday afternoon, we had a laser tag party down in Cleveland. What fun! The Becks, Randolph's and Morgans came.

Afterwards, the Morgans and Randolphs came home with us to camp.

Brother

"Helping" big brother...And Jonathan wanted to use his new net. So Isaac took him butterfly and grasshopper hunting! He loved it!
