Night Two

Well... we tried our hand at making dreidels out of marshmallows, pretzels, and nutella. Laiel and I decided the nutella and pretzels are a hit. Jonathan on the other hand loved the monster marshmallows.
For our devotion, we talked about the difference in a menorah and the lampstand that was in the temple. I had bunches of coloring sheets for the little guys. Know the difference? Then we watched a Sesame Street DVD about Hanukkah and the pressing of olive oil. Poor Isaac... sorry to make you suffer through that Sweetie!
And the kiddos were so excited to get to play with their new Play dough that they received as gifts last night. Doesn't take much to make them happy, huh?
The Golden Lampstand
"Then you shall make a lampstand of pure gold. The lampstand and its base and its shaft are to be made of hammered work; its cups, its bulbs and its flowers shall be of one piece with it. Six branches shall go out from its sides; three branches of the lampstand from its one side and three branches of the lampstand from its other side...."
Exodus 25:31-40
