Jonathan and Rachel have been very diligent with their allowances. Each Sunday they get $1.00 for doing their chores that week. 10% into giving, 20% into saving, and the last 30% is theirs to spend. So we headed to the bank in Sweetwater to make deposits into their savings accounts and turn their coins into dollars! Thank goodness we have a wonderful teller (Mrs. Nancy) that is very patient and makes our trips even more fun!
I even have a jar of my own! Each year I empty my jar to have spending money for the curriculum fairs. Headed to Teach Them Diligently next week... time for serious shopping!
