After a much anticipated visit to the pediatric ophthalmologist, we learned that Jonathan has Accommodative esotropia. He now has a new pair of glasses that are already becoming his dear companion. When we left the office, we were warned that we might have to medicate his eyes in order to get him use to wearing them! They might cause him terrible headaches. He might even get very irritable the first few weeks. Praise the Lord! He had none of those issues. We used velcro to attach his case to his bed where he can put the glasses in a safe place each evening. The very first day he came out of his room with glasses on and ready to conquer the world!
